February Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle Favourites.

Some of thing things I’ve been loving in February 2014.

This month has seriously flown in, I have a feeling the year will too which is scary! The highlight of my month was the 1975 concert because it was so amazing. I’m raging I won’t be seeing them at T in the park, Mallorca rocks or Ibiza rocks but I’m going to get tickets to see them at the Longitude festival 2014! I have so much love for the boys, they're just brilliant. Another thing that’s really made my month is becoming a suas mentor, I’ve always wanted to do work like this with kids and I feel really privileged that I have the chance too. In relation to beauty and fashion I have been loving a lot of things this month so many that I couldn’t fit them all in this post! Nonetheless I have managed to narrow the list down to these few bits. I also have introduced a non-favourite for a change, hope you enjoy!

Beauty:
Non favourite:

Mascara is something I don’t really think about because my eyelashes are really anoying. They are really long and not even the slightest bit curly. I can’t really use plastic mascra brushes because they pull to hard on my lashes so I usually just go for a big soft brush. This is what I thought the scandaleyes looked like but it was such a let down. It's probably the worst mascrara I have ever used. The brush is a really odd shape and it does nothing for my lashes. Thankfully it was less than six euro when I bought it so it isn’t too much of a waste. I used it about three times and I threw it out. Do not but this!

Face: Solar Powder by Soap and Glory.

Being the pale snow queen that I am, I’ve been looking for a more cool toned bronzer for quite a while. I didn’t want to dive in and spend a lot of money on a bronzer if I was never going to use it. After a lot of research, I opted for the soap and glory solar powder bronzer. For under fifteen euro it is a steal buy and I have become obsessed with it. I can’t leave the house without bronzer on anymore. I don’t remember what I did without it! Solar Powder adds so much life and warmth to the face with hardly any of it on.

Eyes: Seventeen Doll’d Up.

This is my new all-time favourite drug store mascara. It has a curve to the brush which makes curling your lashes really easy. It adds length and volume at the same time! Doll'd up is amazing. The mascara is less than ten euro so go and get it if you are looking for a new mascara!

Nails: China glaze Put A Bow On It.

I am in love with this nail polish. It is pink and sparkly, there is no nicer combination in my eyes! The colour is quite sheer so I put it on over a pink or wine nail varnish and it looks so gorgeous.

Perfume: Givenchy irresistible eau de parfum.

I bought this just before Christmas and it is so fab I’ve worn it so much and it’s nearly all gone! It is a very strong seductive scent which are my favourite kind of perfumes.

Favourite body product: Vaseline spray and go.

For the colder months this is a brilliant invention. You know those days when it is freezing cold or you are just feeling a little lazy a spray moisturiser is perfect! It makes the mundane element of daily moistures a thing of the past as it only takes about five minutes to spray your whole body! If you have not tried it already do so a.s.a.p.

Fashion Favourite Clothing item: Kimno’s.

I think it’s clear to say I have a little bit of an obsession with kimonos. I have around six and I still want more. They are just so versatile and change up any outfit, you can go from dressed up to casual in a matter of minutes with a kimono.

Favourite Shoes: River island chunky ankle boots.

These boots are linked due to the following reasons:

1.       I am too lazy to go downstairs and take a picture of them.

2.       They are dirty and I’m too lazy to go down stairs clean them and then take a photo of them haha.

Apologies for the laziness but its the truth! These are boots I usually never go for because they are chunky and give quite a grunge feel but I love them. They toughen up any outfit which is a really nice contrast because I wear a lot of dresses and skirts. Another thing I love about them is how comfy they are, the boots have a platform so I assumed they would be uncomfortable after a while but they aren’t at all. They are worth the money and are my go to shoes at the moment.

Favourite accessories:

Bag: River Island Black textured Tote.

I received this gorgeous bag from my bestie Tara as a Christmas present. I have been wearing this nonstop since January. I was looking for the perfect black tote and she found it for me, it fits so much in it and looks so well with everything. I love the contrast of the black and gold, and the pattern. I just love this bag!

Forever 21 necklace.

If I was a necklace this would be me. I am a lover of gold, lepo (leopard print) pearls and love. So when I seen this necklace I couldn’t believe my eyes! I just had to have it, and I’ve been over wearing it ever since.

Au revoir until next time!
