June favourites 2013

                                  June favourites

Ahoj!

I planned to write more posts over the month but I was just so busy! However, I’m completely free this month and have some new ideas for blog posts! So without further ado here are some of the things I've been loving this month!

Beauty.

Face:

Emma Hardie amazing face natural lift and sculpt moringa cleansing balm.

This is my number one favourite product at the moment. I love putting my makeup on knowing I’m going to take it off in mere hours with this product! I found it when I watched a pixiwoo video on their body talk daily channel They had the famous Caroline Hirons in talking about skin do’s and don’ts. When she talked about the cleansing balm I had to have it! After a month of contemplation I went and bought the product. It came in a set with exfoliating seeds and a face cloth for 51 in Arnotts. When I bought it I have to admit i was apprehensive, thinking oh god why did I just spend all of that money?! BUT my friends it is honestly the best thing I’ve bought in a seriously long time. I noticed a difference in my skin the next day! I knew it worked because my mam also noticed my skin was clearer and passed a comment without even knowing I bought the product! I had the worst skin I’ve had in years at the start of the month and it came out of nowhere, and I was sick of using cheap products that weren’t doing anything for me. So I took the plunge and invested in the balm. It can be used to removed eye makeup as well as face makeup, it literally takes about five minutes and removes ALL of your makeup. I stress the ALL because when I pat my face with a cloth after washing it off there is nothing left on it! It is amazing and I would seriously recommend it!

Lips: Kate Moss for Rimmle 101.(under 10)

This is a gorgeous light pink shade from the Kate Moss collection. I think it’s the perfect summer pink for a natural every day look and a perfect shade for summer! I really love the Kate Moss for Rimmle lipsticks, they are long lasting and the pigments are brilliant. I also love the texture it feels like my lips are moisturised which is rare for a matte lipstick!

Eyes: Urban Decay Naked Pallet- half baked. (originally bought for 35)

Since its summer I’ve been wearing lighter shades on my eyes and gold is my favourite at the moment. I love half baked because it goes with my skin when it is fake tanned as well as my natural pale skin. The eye shadow contrasts really well with my eyes and brings out the deeper blue colour in them. It is really pigment and applies really well I love it! (in between buck and smog in the pallet).

 My Summer saviour

Rimmel instant Tan. Light matte wash off.  (Under 6) I am a big fan of a goddess glow, if I could afford to get a spray tan every week I would, they’re just so perfect and make me feel amazing! However, I only get a spray tan for a special occasion which I’m sad to say are rare L ha-ha. However, when I need an instant colour pick me up for a night out I reach for my trusty Rimmel instant tan! It’s cheap and cheerful and applies well, it washes off in the shower so it’s not hard to get off the next day which is also a bonus! Even though I love my spray tan some patch and fade off in streaks which is not attractive. This is my summer saviour because when the sun does come out and I want to wear shorts or a tank I can put the tan on and feel tanned even just for a day!

Fashion:

Clothing.

H and M joggers.( 14.95)

I’m going away at the end of the month and for as long as I can remember I’ve been looking for a nice pair of joggers that are comfy and actually suit me. The main purpose was to wear on the plane to be comfy and feel nicely dressed at the same time! When I found the joggers in H&M I was delighted, they are so light weight and comfy and I am obsessed I think I’ll probably buy another pair just in case I wear these ones out!

Accessories:

My Orange hand bag .

As I received the bag as a gift I don’t know the brand or how much it was. The bag is the perfect pop of colour to any outfit. It looks small but it actually has loads of space and three different compartments.

Jewellery.

Name gold pendant.

As I acquired my necklace as a gift I am not sure of the price all I am sure of is that it is real gold. I received my Clara pendant as a gift for my 8th birthday off my great aunt. I use to wear it every day for years and when I moved house several years back I had put it away safely and never took it out again. I was afraid of something happening to it but when I was clearing my room out the other day I found it and haven’t taken it off since. I am in love once again!
