Five Friday favourites.
I spent this week planning and getting myself together as these
weeks are flying, I can’t believe I only have seven weeks left! So every day counts
doing as much as I can one step at a time. I applied for my masters this week
which is extremely exciting so we shall see how that goes! This week was definitely
a music week between on and off study breaks and late night downtime, all
involved music rather than TV shows or Netflix to give my eyes and mind a
break.
1. Fave quote:
While looking back through old photos on my phone I found
this and remembered why I liked it so much. One thing in life I was always told
that no matter how trying and testing things got I could always get through it
on my own and with the help of my family because I was strong and I was loved
always. It is something that has never left me and I hope to god others are
told it too, because giving love and being loved in return is the most important
thing in life. I think people with regards to younger people in general are
caught up with love in the romantic sense and see that as the only type of love
which it is not the case at all! Being loved by your friends and family in particular
is the best love of all because it is unconditional, so you reading this smile,
and remember you are loved!
2. Fave song:
Saint Raymond- Come back to you.
This is the latest song from Saint Raymond which was
released on the 4th of March 2015 and its first air play was on Zane
Lowes last BBC radio 1 show! It is a lovely song about being in love even though the
relationship has broken down and holding on because there is still something there. Give it a
listen; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nz2nNknchx0
3. Fave pick me up: Imagine dragons- bet my life on you.
This is the best pick me up song, imagine
dragons have those songs that completely consume me and make me forget about
whatever stressed or bad feelings I have while listening to that song and make
me feel upbeat after.
Give it a listen;
4. Fave watch: Ingrid Neilsons new monthly video series- 5 Minute Month: February 2015.
This is such a creative switch up to
vlogging and really enjoyable to watch.
5. Fave
singer: Ella Henderson.
I adore Ella her voice is phenomenal she
reminds me a lot of Adele but in a more upbeat setting, her soulful voice is
such an easy listen and I can see her becoming quite big this year. Her two
songs I have had on repeat this week are mirror man and pieces. Check mirror
man out here:
Au revoir until next time!
