                                                               Five Friday favourites

Aloha and happy Friday to you! This week was disgusting. I honestly thought today would never come! I had an exam, three essays and a load of stress.  I was like a little ball of stress rolling around since Sunday but it’s all ok because it is all over now, well for this weekend anyway... yaaaaaaaaaaay!! I’m spending my Friday food shopping and handing my assignment in... Don’t be jealous of the crazy life I lead haha.

Fave quote:

This is my dream which I will make my reality.

Fave song: Laura Zocca – all of me by john legend cover.

Laura Zocca is my favourite youtube singer, her voice is so calming. She could sing any song and I'd love it!

Fave thing: my denim jacket

I have been over wearing my new denim jacket to death. It goes with everything! I don’t know how I haven’t had one in my wardrobe? It’s so versatile, and so fab.

Fave drink- Lyons Tea.

Tea and chocolate are the two things that got me through this week, as well as my fam and my friends of course <3

Fave Photo: Pea goes to the party.

I love the simplicity of this drawing, and i want a dress like this.

So they were my Friday favourites what are yours?

Au revoir until next time,

                                                              Five Friday Favourites

Aloha and happy Friday to you! This week has seriously flown in. I’m over my sickness thank god, just in time for college which is so typical haha. My Friday plan of the day is assignments and study.. yes I know my life is so exciting! All I want to do is go shopping. I’m having serious clothing and makeup cravings, if I get all of my work done I’ll be hitting the shops hard next week when I get paid! Hope you have all had a lovely week and enjoy todays post :)

Fave quote:

I love this quote. People come and go in life, the ones that are meant to stay, will stay. As long as you are true to yourself, and kind to others that’s all that matters. There is no need to change yourself to fit in with a certain group of people or a person, just be yourself!

Fave show: Pretty little liars season finale.
This was by far the highlight of my week as sad as it sounds. The past five episodes of pretty little liars have been so good. In saying this I hope it’s coming to an end soon. It really has been going on for way too long! Even though some of the pieces of the puzzle have been put together, the question still stands. Who is A?

Fave song: Miky Ekko Pull me down.

This song is the second song I’ve heard from Miky Ekko and I’m loving it. I found this song from the latest episode of the originals. For those of you who don’t know the originals is the spin off show for the vampire diaries and I actually prefer the originals to the vampire diaries at the moment! Each episode is a page turner, check it out!

Fave photo:

I love these types of signs and I want one of my own! How cool would this look on top of a building? Love is a losing game by Amy Winehouse is my favourite song by her and one of my favourite songs of all time, which makes me love the photo even more.

Fave smile: Tom and Giovanna Fletchers baby documentary from bump to buzz.

Tom Fletcher is king when it comes to romance and general loveliness in my opinion. First his wedding speech and now this. He really can’t go wrong, they are the most adorable couple and I’m so happy for them. You can’t watch this video and not smile!
Au revoir until next time!

                                                                         Five Friday Favourites

Aloha and happy Friday to you! I’m a sad bunny this Friday because I’m sick. It’s not the same sickness as last Friday, it is way worse which is really crappy. This week has seriously had some ups and downs and I can’t wait for it to be over!

Fave quote:

My lovely friend Sinead showed me this quote the other day and it hasn’t left my mind since. I remember reading somewhere that when we think back to a memory, it is not the actual event we are remembering, instead it is how we felt in the moment. I think it is way to easy to look back at the past and think it was a much better time, because it has gone and you can’t get it back. If you really think about it people and things that are in the past are there for a reason. There is something that was done or said which has led to a person or thing not being in your life today. The present and the future are things we should focus on because there is no going back, only moving forward.

Fave Day: Hannah’s Conformation Wednesday the 12th of March 2014.

This was my best and favourite day of the week. It was a day full of laughing, family and love. I loved It! the mass was really short and not like any other I had been to before. We all had a great day visiting family and spending quality time together. We had a lovely dinner with drinks and chats and then a relaxing night at home. It was really great! My little sister Hannah had a great day which was the most important thing :)
Fave song: Coldplay- Magic

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PvBc2TOpE4

I love Coldplay and I’m so glad they are back, finally! I can’t wait to hear their new album in May 2014. This song is a really calm, and easy listen. The perfect song for chilling and winding down.

Fave picture:

There’s something so intriguing about this photo, but I’m not quite sure what it is.

Fave laugh: Hipster Alice in Wonderland.

Hipster memes make me laugh. There are so many hipsters that give out about other people being hipster and slag it off. When what they really are giving out about is these people “copying them”. The whole thing is so hilarious and makes me feel about twelve. My favourite thing about this hipster movement is that, they were all the “original” emos and scene kids back in the day and now they own this hipster trend too. It gives me mega LOLZ (laughs in scene talk). They criticize music, fashion trends, grammar, studies and everything else they "started". If you don’t fit in or conform to their ways of thinking you’re not right in anything you say. Ahem, yeah ok sit in your shitty dark bar smoking weed, drinking Jack, doing coke and whatever else you want too. You won’t be “a kool kid” forever honey.

On a lighter note How are you this Friday? Hope you all have a great weekend :)

Au revoir until next time!

                                                        Friday Favourites.

Aloha and happy first Friday of the month to you! I am ill this Friday. However, a very happy ill because I’m going to Longitude 2014!!! Words can’t describe how excited I am to see The 1975, Sam Smith, HOZIER and Disclosure. My mam was on top of her game when she bought the tickets this morning and I’m so thankful she did, love her lots at the moment obviously! I will be heading back to the Longitude alongside my best friend, my sister and my sisters bestie. I have a feeling it’s going to be a concert I will never forget. Have a happy Friday whatever you are up too and have a nice weekend.

Fave quote:

This quote explains how I have felt the past few days. I want to make this summer a good one, I want to get away, try new things, do some work experience, have great day and night adventures. I want to do as much as I can with my friends, before I go into my final year, a lot of them leave for Erasmus and go back to college in general.

Fave song: Lennon and Maisy cover- That’s what’s up Edward Sharpe and the magnetic zeros.

There is something about amazing covers that I will never get over. I love when I’m in love with a singer or a band and then a unknown talented individual is just as a good as the singer.

Fave laugh:

I’m with you Jen. I felt like this more than once this week. I found myself saying this to several different people, and I'm not even ashamed. Pretty boys are my weakness and it’s not fair, I'm sure I'll get over pretty boys..one day haha.

Fave thing: Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick engagement.
This made me smile so much yesterday. Kourtney and Scott have had some serious ups and downs the past few years. In saying this, they have stuck together through thick and thin and it is clear they both love each other an enormous amount. I wish them the best of luck in life and love. I really believe they are meant to be.

Fave outfit:

I wore this outfit on Monday night and I am in love. I had a hilarious night out with my good friend Emma, it was just what I needed and so worth the hangover and 9am lecture torture! We went to a pub I had never been before and I’m glad. I’m sick and tired of going to the same places and that’s one of the reasons why I don’t go out as much as I use too!

Fave photo:

How amazing is this?

What are your favourites today?

Au revoir until next time!

February Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle Favourites.

Some of thing things I’ve been loving in February 2014.

This month has seriously flown in, I have a feeling the year will too which is scary! The highlight of my month was the 1975 concert because it was so amazing. I’m raging I won’t be seeing them at T in the park, Mallorca rocks or Ibiza rocks but I’m going to get tickets to see them at the Longitude festival 2014! I have so much love for the boys, they're just brilliant. Another thing that’s really made my month is becoming a suas mentor, I’ve always wanted to do work like this with kids and I feel really privileged that I have the chance too. In relation to beauty and fashion I have been loving a lot of things this month so many that I couldn’t fit them all in this post! Nonetheless I have managed to narrow the list down to these few bits. I also have introduced a non-favourite for a change, hope you enjoy!

Beauty:
Non favourite:

Mascara is something I don’t really think about because my eyelashes are really anoying. They are really long and not even the slightest bit curly. I can’t really use plastic mascra brushes because they pull to hard on my lashes so I usually just go for a big soft brush. This is what I thought the scandaleyes looked like but it was such a let down. It's probably the worst mascrara I have ever used. The brush is a really odd shape and it does nothing for my lashes. Thankfully it was less than six euro when I bought it so it isn’t too much of a waste. I used it about three times and I threw it out. Do not but this!

Face: Solar Powder by Soap and Glory.

Being the pale snow queen that I am, I’ve been looking for a more cool toned bronzer for quite a while. I didn’t want to dive in and spend a lot of money on a bronzer if I was never going to use it. After a lot of research, I opted for the soap and glory solar powder bronzer. For under fifteen euro it is a steal buy and I have become obsessed with it. I can’t leave the house without bronzer on anymore. I don’t remember what I did without it! Solar Powder adds so much life and warmth to the face with hardly any of it on.

Eyes: Seventeen Doll’d Up.

This is my new all-time favourite drug store mascara. It has a curve to the brush which makes curling your lashes really easy. It adds length and volume at the same time! Doll'd up is amazing. The mascara is less than ten euro so go and get it if you are looking for a new mascara!

Nails: China glaze Put A Bow On It.

I am in love with this nail polish. It is pink and sparkly, there is no nicer combination in my eyes! The colour is quite sheer so I put it on over a pink or wine nail varnish and it looks so gorgeous.

Perfume: Givenchy irresistible eau de parfum.

I bought this just before Christmas and it is so fab I’ve worn it so much and it’s nearly all gone! It is a very strong seductive scent which are my favourite kind of perfumes.

Favourite body product: Vaseline spray and go.

For the colder months this is a brilliant invention. You know those days when it is freezing cold or you are just feeling a little lazy a spray moisturiser is perfect! It makes the mundane element of daily moistures a thing of the past as it only takes about five minutes to spray your whole body! If you have not tried it already do so a.s.a.p.

Fashion Favourite Clothing item: Kimno’s.

I think it’s clear to say I have a little bit of an obsession with kimonos. I have around six and I still want more. They are just so versatile and change up any outfit, you can go from dressed up to casual in a matter of minutes with a kimono.

Favourite Shoes: River island chunky ankle boots.

These boots are linked due to the following reasons:

1.       I am too lazy to go downstairs and take a picture of them.

2.       They are dirty and I’m too lazy to go down stairs clean them and then take a photo of them haha.

Apologies for the laziness but its the truth! These are boots I usually never go for because they are chunky and give quite a grunge feel but I love them. They toughen up any outfit which is a really nice contrast because I wear a lot of dresses and skirts. Another thing I love about them is how comfy they are, the boots have a platform so I assumed they would be uncomfortable after a while but they aren’t at all. They are worth the money and are my go to shoes at the moment.

Favourite accessories:

Bag: River Island Black textured Tote.

I received this gorgeous bag from my bestie Tara as a Christmas present. I have been wearing this nonstop since January. I was looking for the perfect black tote and she found it for me, it fits so much in it and looks so well with everything. I love the contrast of the black and gold, and the pattern. I just love this bag!

Forever 21 necklace.

If I was a necklace this would be me. I am a lover of gold, lepo (leopard print) pearls and love. So when I seen this necklace I couldn’t believe my eyes! I just had to have it, and I’ve been over wearing it ever since.

Au revoir until next time!
