My September 2013

                                   September Favourites.

September has been one of the rollercoaster months for me, a load of things has happened and I’ve been caught up in everyday life. I haven’t been using a lot of new products and I haven’t gone shopping in ages because like many other students, I’ve been broke. Since last weekend I’ve been unwell, with a very glamorous streptococcal throat! Of course it was bound to happen the week I had planned to hang out with friends, shop and do a lot of nice fun activities, before I go back to college this coming Monday. Alas, instead of these lovely plans I’ve been bedridden with no voice and just craving food! However, if I’m better by Saturday, I’ll be going shopping so there may be a haul or OOTD coming up very soon! So, with that little rant and update over, here is my smallest monthly favourites ever, enjoy!

Beauty.
Lips: Kate Moss for Rimmel nude 03. (Under 7 euro)
This is my perfect light brown nude shade. Since I became obsessed with the Rimmel apocalypse nude eclipse lip lacquer, I wanted a lipstick that was almost identical the colour. I was humming and hawing over buying M.A.C teddy which is a gorgeous nude brown, but I couldn’t justify spending 20 on a lipstick without even looking for a cheaper dupe. I am always looking at high end lipsticks then looking for cheaper alternatives. In my opinion if you can barely tell the difference between high end and low end, you may as well go for the cheaper option and save that cash!
Hair care: (under 10 euro)
I’ve been really into hair care the past two months I recently dyed my hair a darker blonde and I’m loving it. It’s just more natural and it looks a lot healthier! I think the healthier look is down to these two dream products I’ve been using!

L'Oreal Paris Elnett satin heat styling spray. I’ve been using this mainly as a heat protectant it smells amazing and leaves my hair really soft after its blow dried or straightened. I plan on experimenting more with my hair so I’ll be looking for more styling sprays like this one!

I have also been adoring the L'Oreal ever riche hair treatment, which I mentioned in last month’s favourites, it’s been going hand in hand with the heat protectant helping my hair feel and look better. Both products really do work wonders!
Body: (under 10 euro)

Dove purely pampering body butter, with Shea and warm vanilla. I bought this like most gems on a whim! I went into boots with the intention of picking up my go to palmers butter, but I was on a budget and needed a few things. When I wandered down the body isle, I seen special offer signs and my mind was pinging! I seen that the dove body cream was on special offer from eight euro to under four euro! My friend swears by her dove moisturiser so I said I’d pick this one up and give it a go! I am a sucker for scents so I chose the Shea and warm vanilla. I actually adore this cream, it applies really well, dries really quickly and leaves me skin exceptionally smooth. The thing I really like is the scent lasts for hours, I’ll put it on and my room will smell of the cream, it is divine!

Fashion

Clothing: (under 20 euro)
My skull t-shirt from Bershka. At the start of the month I was going to a christening and I had no idea what to wear, I wanted a versatile outfit of two things I could over wear together and separately. I opted for a wine pencil skirt from River Island and an oversized baggy t-shirt dress from Bershka. I hadn’t gone to Bershka in around four years but, it was all done up and me and my friend said we’d give it a go. I was only five minutes in the store when I found the t-shirt, I tried it on and fell in love. I can't get enough of oversized comfy t-shirts because you can wear them in so many ways. I tried it on tucked into the skirt and it looked great! Since the christening I have worn the top so much and I’m going back into Bershka to see if I can pick up some more like these!
Jewellery.

I wanted bands like these for ages and couldn’t get my hands on them in Lanzarote. So a friend kindly picked me up three bands while he was away. My favourite of the three is the pink one because luminous pink is my all-time favourite colour. My birthday dress for my 20th was even a luminous pink skater dress! I have worn the bracelet almost every day since I’ve got it and I don’t plan on taking it off any time soon, It goes with everything. :]

Random favourite: (90 euro)

My random favourite of this month is my new phone, which is the Sony xpeira e.

I bought this phone with some of my birthday money and I am obsessed! It was 90 euro and has so much! It’s the best phone I’ve had in a long while and I adore it, I’m not good with technology so other people might disagree but I can’t fault it. It has loads of apps, a good battery and it is easy to work so what more do you need?!

So they were my September favourites, I hope you enjoyed!

What have you been loving this month? Feel free let me know below :]

Au revoir until next time,

C xo
