Tuesday; TV.

                                              The ones to watch.

Aloha reader, today I have my top TV shows of the moment for you! Recently more than ever, I am very into catch up TV. This may be a strong form of procrastination with assignment due dates approaching and those summer exams getting close. However, my downfall can be your triumph if you are in a TV rut or just looking for really good TV to get stuck into!

1.    Game of thrones (Drama)

Number one on the hit list is; Game of thrones. It is an American fantasy based on a song of ice and fire novels by George R. R. Martin. I was late to the game starting the show last year but I’m fully caught up and seriously loving it. I really want to read the books and I think it may be a summer mission. I found the show hard to get into for the first two episodes but the storyline is so interesting that you are drawn in quick enough. One thing is love is the cinematography, it is so phenomenal! The constant twists and fight for the iron throne are the things that me watching, almost every episode is a cliff-hanger!

2.    Greys anatomy (drama)

Grey’s anatomy is an American medical drama that follows the life of Meredith Grey and her friends in Seattle grace hospital. I have been a serious Greys anatomy fan since 2011 ironically when I started 5th year and was meant to be studying for the leaving certificate haha. The show is an emotional rollercoaster watching it half the time but it brilliant and seriously worth the watch!

3.    Criminal minds (drama)

Criminal minds is an American police drama. The series is about a team of profilers from the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) who travel across the country solving murder cases. The stories are quite dark and can be terrifying to watch but the characters lighten the darkness of the storylines. As you can probably tell dark dramas are kind of my thing, even though I am actually terrified of murders and serial killers. What can I say I’m an odd one! I look forward to my weekly criminal minds fix, I don’t want it to ever end!

4.    The originals (drama)

The originals is a fantasy drama a spin off show to the vampire diaries. This show is about the originals aka the first vampires of all time, who go back to New Orleans to reclaim their home. I love the vampire diaries however, lately it has been slacking, the storylines aren’t that interesting and I don’t find myself looking forward to the next episode. However, the originals always leaves me wanting more. It has great story lines about vampire’s witches and werewolf’s with flashes back to the history of New Orleans which is really cool, in my opinion! Another great thing about the show is that the soundtrack is phenomenal!

5.    New girl (comedy)

And last but not least the only comedy on my list is new girl. New girl is an American comedy about a twenty something girl called Jess and her three loft mates Nick, Schmidt and Winston. I have watched this show from the beginning and I adore it. Every episode seems to get funnier, the show is laugh out loud funny! Zooey Deschanel is a hero, I never really thought she was great until this show started. Now I have a new found adoration for her. The show never fails to make me smile, and always puts me in a better mood!

 Au revoir until next time,

This man wanted to propose to his girlfriend in New York but the weather was not in his favour, after all of his plans failed he decided to get down on one knee in the middle of the hustle and bustle of New York, and a lovely passer by captured the moment for the couple. How lovely!
